Believed by many to be one
of the best oceanfront restaurants in the country, Restaurante La
Parcela has served locals and visitors continuously for nearly 30
years.
Located on the Punta (point) at Playa Dominical, La Parcela is distinguished
by a small island, approximately 200 meters from the shore, which
is visible regardless of tidal changes. Prominent on the island is
a large tree. For decades, the point near La Parcela has been a favorite
spot for viewing spectacular sunsets. Ask for directions to “Sunset
Point.”
From the dining area, your view to the south includes the Osa Peninsula,
one of the most bio-diverse spots on our planet. Also to the south
is Whale’s Tail in Ballena National Park. Humpback whale sightings
are common in the area between December and April, when whales migrate
from North and South America to give birth. It is not unusual to see
surfers catching waves to the south of La Parcela. The bay to the
north of La Parcela holds moorings for local sports fishing charters
and commercial fishing boats, the source of the delicious fresh fish,
shrimp, and lobster featured on our menu.. |

Our menu features local favorites, such as gallo pinto, ceviche, pescado
entero, arroz con pollo, and tres leches, as well as house specialties
prepared from the freshest meats, seafoods, produce, and product.
Fine wines, beers, and specialty drinks are available to enhance your
dining experience. Complete your meal with a delicious tropical flaming
dessert prepared at your table by one of our wait staff.
We are proud of our excellent and loyal team, directed by our manager
Edward Jimenez. Our head chef, Roman Alvarez has been with us for
nine years. Rodolfo Obando, our most tenured and oldest employee,
has been graciously serving our guests for nearly 20 years. All are
ready and eager to serve you with a friendly smile and warm welcome.
